17 May Video: DARE Celebrates Data Science & AI Week

To celebrate Data Science Week we asked the DARE team what they like about Data Science and how they are using it! Check out the video HERE

In honour of Data Science Week we also hosted a Deluxe Data Challenge, with a problem that could be tackled from many angles to allow everyone the opportunity to come up with a creative solution. Our PhD candidates and Postdocs were challenged by our Research Engineers to predict soil moisture time series data from a gauge at Narrabri.

Congratulations to our winning team – Fabian Leal and Sam Davis (and their bonus member, ChatGPT) – who won a voucher for BrewDog in South Eveleigh.
