21 Nov DARE Postpones Research Hub Application

After considerable reflection and careful evaluation, we have made the difficult decision to delay the DARE Research Hub application and not to proceed with the proposal for the 2025 round.

This decision was not made lightly and is no doubt disappointing news to hear. Unfortunately, despite substantial support, we were unable to secure the level of investment necessary to ensure the proposed Hub would be truly viable and transformative. This would have made it extremely challenging to deliver on our ambitious vision and we wouldn’t want all our hard work to result in a Hub that struggled to fulfill its promises to the broader network of partners. We are very grateful to all our partners and researchers for your efforts in helping to develop and support the proposal.

The DARE Training Centre remains active and strong and we are keen to explore ways to work together in the future. We are committed to working with all our partners (and potential new partners) across disciplines and industries to deliver impactful outcomes that benefit Australia’s natural resources and environments.
