- Tongliang Liu had the following 4 papers published in NeurIPS
- Roman Marchant selected as co-chair of ACM Conference on Fairness, Accountability and Transparency (ACM FAccT)
- Roman Marchant, Vincent Chin and Sally Cripps acknowledged for their contribution to the findings in the Minderoo Foundation’s Global Fishing Index report
- Nandini Ramesh presented a talk titled, ‘Autumn Monsoons: A Newly Discovered Climate Type’ at the University of Delaware’s School of Marine Science and Policy Colloquium Series
- Our Operations Manager, Carolyn Robinson received the Faculty of Engineering’s Annual Dean’s Award for ‘Professional Excellence with Community Focus’. Carolyn was selected amongst high-performing colleagues for this award
- Tristan Salles’ paper, ‘Quaternary landscape dynamics boosted species dispersal across Southeast Asia’ published in Nature Communications Earth & Environment
- Minh-Ngoc Tran named top researcher in ‘Probability and Statistics with Applications’ in 2021 by The Australian’s Research magazine
- Jody Webster recognised for Outstanding Research in the 2021 Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence
- Wanchuang Zhu and Simon Luo’s paper, Detecting Poisonous Nodes in Federated Learning by Ranking Gradients accepted at NeurIPS
